NH EMS Community - in 2008, Senate Bill 525 was signed into law
therefore establishing the 1st Saturday in May as "EMS Appreciation
Day". In honor and celebration, please join us on Saturday May 1, 2010,
9:30a.m. on the Statehouse steps in Concord for a ceremony honoring NH's
dedicated, hardworking EMS Providers. Commissioner Barthelmes,
Representative Andrew White, Dr. Doug McVicar from the Medical Control
Board and Dr. Dave Strang from the Coordinating Board will be on hand to
celebrate the many accomplishments of NH's EMS Community. As we step
forward an establish our first official "NH" day of appreciation and
recognition for EMS, I hope you and as many of your fellow EMS
professionals as possible will join us! This event is cosponsored by
the New Hampshire Association of EMT's.
