[Fstemsnews] Fire Inspector Visiting Committee

Dear Fire Service and Inspection Community:

 

I wish to inform you that the Division of Fire Standards and Training
and EMS will be conducting a visiting committee to review over the
current Fire Inspector I and II program that we currently offer.

 

This program has been a main staple in the NH inspection community for
nearly six (6) years.  However, as times have changed, so has much of
the material that needs to be taught.  This program is in need of some
updating and potentially new ideas.

 

I would like to extend this opportunity to you all to put your name in
and sign up for the visiting committee as a member.

 

This will entail making regular meetings, research both during committee
meetings and on your own time, homework assignments, project
development, and much, much, more.

 

Membership on a visiting committee is no easy task, but it can be
extremely rewarding.  So with that said, if you are interested in
joining this newly formed committee, please send an e-mail expressing
your interest to Chris Rousseau at chris.rousseau at dos.nh.gov.  I will be
in contact with you.

 

The first visiting committee meeting is set for June 1st, 2010 at the
Fire Academy campus starting promptly at 9am.  We will meet until
noontime.  Refreshments will NOT be provided, sorry.
