NEWS RELEASE FOR NHAEMT

At the September monthly NHAEMT meeting elections for new officer were held.

NHAEMT would like to announce it has a new president, Jason Grey.  I am a
paramedic from Meredith, an I/C and have been involved in EMS since 1993.  Betsy
Calhoun was re-elected Treasurer.  K.G. Lockwood remains our Vice President and
Stephanie Caldon remains as Secretary.

I would like to thank Jen Frenette for her service to the NHAEMT as president
for the last four years. Jen has worked hard to grow the membership, recognize
EMS in this state and worked to recognize what we do every day on a national
level.  Jen and Tony Maggio represented NHAEMT at EMS on the Hill in Washington,
DC this past spring. Jen was a driving force behind the recognition day in May
in Concord and developing our relationship with the Fisher Cats to help thank
every EMT for the work they do.  Jen has promised to stay involved and will
continue to represent EMTs on a national level as a board member of NAEMT.

Upcoming NHAEMT events are the Northern NH EMS Conference at the Summit Hotel
at Attitash Mountain in Bartlett (this coming weekend). Look for the NHAEMT
table for membership applications and pre-order forms for this year’s Fisher
Cats game in May.  May 7 NHAEMT will be participating in EMS Recognition Day on
the Capitol steps in Concord and hosting EMTs at the Fisher Cats game.

I look forward to serving the EMT’s of the State of New Hampshire, continuing
Jens efforts in growing the association and working with the Bureau of EMS on
making sure what we do everyday matters and is recognized.

If you would like to contact me I can be emailed at Jason.grey at ymail.com.  The
NHAEMT website (www.nhaemt.org) will be updated shortly to reflect the change of
officers.

Thank you,

Jason Grey
President NHAEMT
