[Fstemsnews] Re-Certification & Re-Licensing Reminders

NH EMS Community:

 

As the re-certification and re-licensing deadline approaches we wanted
to provide some last-minute reminders and information.  Unit leaders and
training officers please see the information below.

 

Re-Certification

If you chose to recertify by the Refresher by Exam/Exam-in-Lieu of
traditional refresher it is important to know that the required
documentation is required to arrive at a NH Bureau of EMS office by the
close of business (4:15 PM) on 3/31/2011 or received by US mail with a
postmark of 3/31/2011 or earlier in order to be considered valid for
this re-certification period ending 3/31/2011.  Additional Exam-in-Lieu
information is attached.

 

Re-Licensure

As of this date we still have 700 expiring providers who have not
submitted re-licensure applications.  If you are a Unit Leader please be
aware that the best way to verify a licensure status of a member of your
unit is via the EMS Licensing e-mail emslicensing at dos.nh.gov. E-mails
are answered in the order in which they were received and are answered
during normal business hours.  Please remember that no individuals
should be providing care as an EMS provider without proof of licensure
by means of a current printed license in hand or official verification
of licensure from the NH Bureau of EMS.
