[Fstemsnews] NREMT Online Recertification

NH EMS Community:

 

We hope the refresher and recertification season is going well for all
of our providers.  We have been notified of some challenges when using
the NREMT online recertification process.  An option during the
recertification is to check whether or not the applicant has completed
the transition program.  This is confusing for our providers as NH has
transition programs that are required for licensing.  The transition
program that the NREMT is asking about is what NH has referred to as the
"conversion program" which is the program to go from current
certification to the new levels which will be rolled-out after April
2012.  

 

When using the NREMT online recertification process please answer DO NOT
CHECK the transition box.  A screen shot of a recertification
"dashboard" is included below, it is checked incorrectly.  Please make
sure that the Transition box is not checked.  Answering otherwise may
result in your application being held by NREMT for an extended time or
potentially even rejected.  We are continuing to work with NREMT and
have been contacting providers who we know have been held up or rejected
by NREMT.
