POSITION: Director - Greater Manchester Professional Development Center
- Part-time

SCHOOL LOCATION: Manchester School of Technology

 

QUALIFICATIONS:    

*        Master's or CAGS in Education, Administration, or Curriculum
and Instruction

*        Minimum of five years teaching experience

*        Strong technology background and familiarity with both
Macintosh and PC applications

*        Experience with providing professional development to teachers
and administrators, preparation of budgets and grant writing,
establishing and maintaining effective relationships with staff,
administrators, vendors, and the general public.

*        Valid driver's license

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee day-to-day operation and management of the GMPDC including staff
supervision, development and implementation of professional development
programs to all school districts within a 30-mile radius, assist with
statewide initiatives, promotion of Center services, financial
management, budget preparation, grant writing, and reporting.

 

REPORTS   TO: Superintendent of Schools

SALARY RANGE: $28,500 - $31,300

WORK YEAR: 230 days, Half-time 

EFFECTIVE DATE: Available immediately
