2010 Be Heard School Grants - Call for Applications

The Calypso School First Foundation is proud to continue its commitment to using technology to transform teaching and learning for all students by continuing the Be Heard | School Grant for the 2010-2011 school year. The Be Heard | School Grant recognizes the importance of hearing and being heard in the classroom. Voice amplification is an effective, affordable, and measurable tool for improving teaching and learning for all students in all subjects. In addition, classroom voice amplification has been shown to dramatically reduce special education referrals (up to 40%). The Be Heard | School Grant will provide a complete, fully installed, classroom voice amplification system in up to 35 classrooms. Three grant recipients will be chosen from across the United States.
