Subject: NH Broadband Mapping & Planning Program - Broadband Survey

We are pleased to announce that the NH Broadband Mapping & Planning
Program has recently launched an online version of our broadband usage
survey, available at www.iwantbroadbandnh.org/broadbandsurvey. We would
appreciate your assistance in getting the word out to residents,
businesses, libraries, schools, governmental agencies, non-profits, and
anyone else interested in access to high-speed internet, and asking them
to complete the survey. While we encourage your creative approaches in
disseminating this notice, one avenue we recommend is that you post a
notice to your respective web sites, and facebook page.

The information collected through the broadband survey will be used for
a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

* verification of the coverage data that has been reported by
broadband providers in the state*,

* informing service providers of potential customers that have
expressed a need for access to high-speed internet service,

* assisting state programs looking at future broadband expansion
and deployment planning, by identifying areas of New Hampshire that are
unserved and underserved.

* It is important to note that the service coverage data collected from
the providers are aggregated to the census block level and may
illustrate a greater availability of service than is actually available
at the address level

Thank you for your assistance and please don't hesitate to contact
myself, or Fay Rubin, Program Director, (fay.rubin at unh.edu) with any
questions or comments.

Cheers, Michael
