ITEM: Technology for Innovation in Education Conference

I am happy to announce that Tilton School will host a three-day
conference on the school's campus, from July 31 to August 2, aimed at
both private and public school educators. This year's focus will be on
those who are either currently using or are interested in using Google
Apps for Education in their respective schools and classrooms. The
"Technology for Innovation in Education Conference" is the latest
initiative in Tilton School's ongoing efforts in defining an independent
school with a public purpose.

Four Google Certified Trainers will be on staff to teach classroom
teachers, while current Google Apps for Education domain administrators
will be teaching the Admin Day track.

Tilton School is looking to provide an opportunity for both public and
private school educators to expand their knowledge of the most
innovative technology concepts in education. This year focus will be on
Google Apps for Education, and we will work together to create real
world applications of the tools available in order to better student
engagement and learning.

The content of day one of the conference will be designed for Directors
of Technology, Systems and Network Administrators, and others who will
be setting up and managing the Google Apps for Education domain. The
remaining two days will be focused on classroom teachers, with a large
portion of time set aside for putting all of the pieces together in a
project.
