ITEM: Tech Readiness Tool Updates
The August implementation of the Technology Readiness Tool 3.0 release, saw changes and upgrades. Please review these changes to the process of marking school data complete.
* The system will no longer allow your schools to mark data complete if required data fields are not populated. As a result, the completion status of organizations with missing required data will be reset from "Yes" to "No" after the implementation of the Technology Readiness Tool 3.0 build.
Below, you will find an explanation of two data validations to be performed on existing and future data. Updates and information were sent to tool users, posted on Access4Ed.net, and the ET News blog and listserv as it became available. The state will get reports listing SAUs that have been flagged for missing required data and schools flagged as having atypical data.
* The completion status of the organizations on the missing required data report were reset to "No" in August. Missing data must be added and resubmitted.
* All atypical data will need to be confirmed and will not reset the completion status.
NH Completion Status has dropped to 45% as a result of these changes. Please have your schools update and input data into the tool as soon as you can.
Note: The tool has been upgraded with features that allow you to explore how changes in your parameters will affect your technology readiness. All schools are encouraged to use this new feature to your advantage in order to maximize your readiness and understand what optimal conditions need to me in place to meet your needs.
