ITEM: Send Your Thoughts on Ed Tech Funding to Congress

Right now, Congress is deciding how much to spend on education in fiscal year 17, including funding levels for the Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants (SSAEG) of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which contains the critical education technology provisions that ed tech leaders and organizations all support.

The ISTE Advocacy Network will have a booth at ISTE 2016 Denver where attendees can send a pre-written letter to their Senators and Representative telling them to fully fund SSAEG.

If you are not attending ISTE 2016 but still want to make an impact on ed tech policy, you can send your pre-written letter through ISTE online. Please consider sending your thoughts about ed tech funding, and general education funding online. Let your voice be heard.
