ITEM: Introduction to Gen YES New Hampshire Webinar Monday June 12 at 2:45 PM
The NH Office of Educational Technology is working with Generation YES to organize a statewide initiative to promote, train, and fund Generation YES chapters in interested NH Schools. All New Hampshire educators interested in forming a Student Technology Leadership (STL) team to support their technology integration and infrastructure are welcome to login to a 30-minute Webinar covering this topic. Dr. Dennis Harper of the nonprofit Generation YES organization will deliver a 15 minute presentation discussing the history and research behind STL teams as well as a quick demonstration of the GenYES model. GenYES has 20 years of experience in helping schools implement and sustain powerful STL programs. The remainder of the time will be available for participants to ask questions. If you don't know about GenYES check out genyes.org<http://genyes.org>.
Dr. Harper will also introduce a four-hour GenYES workshop, scheduled for August 9 at 10:00 AM at the Concord Center of Plymouth State University.
